Driver crashes £250,000 Lamborghini supercar metres from primary school then 'tells onlookers he'd just go out and buy another one tomorrow'

A Lamborghini was left severely damaged after it was crashed into a tree and a bollard, causing one of the rear wheels of the £250,000 supercar to fly off and narrowly miss a man who was walking his granddaughter home

Martin Johnson, 46, was walking his granddaughter Charly Pennett, aged nine, home from school, when one of the wheels flew past them in Beaumont Leys in Leicestershire - narrowly missing the pair. More photos after the cut...

The Lamborghini Gallardo, which can reach 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds, hit a tree before careering into the middle of the road and smashing into a bollard - just metres from Buswell's Lodge Primary School.

Martin Johnson said he was walking his granddaughter Charly Pennett home when the wheel flew past
Onlookers claimed the owner of the supercar crashed close to a school and said he would buy another
