Despite the less than ideal circumstances, Nigerians are expectant. In the 21 st century, it is certainly not farfetched to expect that as night falls, that by the simple flick of a switch, one can confidently illuminate the darkness without the nightly cacophony of generator engines disrupting the evening quiet.
