Kim Kardashian get punished by Anna Wintour as Vogue reveals cover of special Met Gala issue featuring a list of A-list attendees without her name on the list

Paying the price? Kim Kardashian, who posted several photos on Instagram despite Anna Wintour's selfie ban, does not appear in the list of stars on the cover of Vogue's special Met Gala issue
Is Kim Kardashian already paying the price for not obeying Anna Wintour?

Vogue has just unveiled the cover for its special edition Met Gala issue, which is on stands now, and a certain reality star's name is missing from a list of 'stars' of the event which features prominently alongside a picture of cover star Rihanna.

Before last week's Met Gala, it was announced that Ms. Wintour had banned guests from sharing inside images of the event on social media - but Kim led the pack of stars who couldn't help but post a few personal pictures on Instagram.

The 'offence selfie'
The 34-year-old revealed to Extra that she had left her phone at home in an effort to avoid temptation on the big night, but her need to update her social media followers on her every move - as well as a little peer pressure - got the better of her, and she used husband Kanye's cell phone instead.
'I took a photo with Kanye, Diplo and Madonna and I was like, "You guys, there’s no selfies."
'They were like, "Oh come on. We can take a picture." I was like, "No, I swear I don’t want to get in trouble,"' she said.

High praise: Despite being featured at the top of Vogue.com's best dressed list, Kim failed to make the cut when it came to the publication's Met Gala cover

However, though Ms. Wintour might have a personal distaste for selfies and sharing them at her carefully-planned event, the editor insists that she's not against them for every single occasion.
'However you may feel about social media or the Internet or selfies, it's part of how we all live today,' she recently told CNN. 'Vogue needs to understand and reflect that.'
In fact, some intimate snaps were meant to be shared from the event, and inside photos of Rihanna, George and Amal Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, and Lady Gaga all appear in the special edition Vogue issue.

... that dress on Kim is a KILLER damn!!!
