Some relief! Gov Rauf Aregbesola Begins Payment of Workers Salaries

 

Finally, Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola has started paying his workers salaries. Osun state workers said they have started receiving alerts since Friday, June 26, 2015.

Reports have it that Ogbeni Rauf is paying his workers two to three months salary. But the state NLC said he should start from five months worth of salary before they can call off the strike.

The state NLC Chairman, Jacob Adekomi made this statement during a meeting with government officials in the state.

Osun state government made it known to the NLC officials that there’s no how the governor can start paying from 5 months due to
insufficient funds.
