INEC Boss, Attahiru Jega bows out as Tenure ends, Ahmed Wali takes over as interim Chairman

 

Man of the Year, Attahiru Jega‘s tenure as INEC Chairman has come to an end.

His departure was formalized on Tuesday during a handover ceremony conducted behind closed doors at the Commission in Abuja, according to Sahara Reporters.

A national commissioner from Sokoto State, Ahmed Wali will be taking over as interim chairman.
