Crippled man robs bank in NY


Man in wheelchair robs bank

   
A wheelchair bound man has been arrested for robbing a bank  in New York.

The 23-year-old man identified as Kelvin Dennison from Queens, was arrested for robbing the TD Bank located on Astoria Boulevard.


According to police investigation, Dennison entered the TD Bank branch located at 41-01 Queens Boulevard during the early afternoon on Monday, and approached a teller window, where he handed the teller a note that stated: “Give me $20,000. I have a bomb. I will shoot.”

When the teller allegedly handed Dennison a sum of money, he exited the bank and fled south on Queens Boulevard.

He was arrested by the NYPD and has been charged with third-degree robbery and he risks facing up to  years in prison.
