Less than 24 hours after popular musical act, David Adeleke, and his
Babymama, Sophie Momodu, signed a peace pact at Agency for the
Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) to keep their affairs off
social media, another report surfaced on the matter on
theeagleonline.com yesterday.
According to The Eagle Online, Davido, in his statement, told NAPTIP that Sophie, cousin of veteran journalist, Dele Momodu, told a lot of lies in the course of their relationship.
Davido, who was at the NAPTIP office in continuation of the hearing of the case between him and Sophia over the custody of their child, Imade, said his Babymama lied to him about her age.
Adeleke, who gave his age as 24 in his statement, said Sophie told him she was only two years older than him when they started the relationship.
However, he said he discovered in the course of their relationship that she was not less than six years older than him. He also told the NAPTIP operatives that contrary to the impression being created in the public space, Sophia was not a graduate.
He, however, said the age and educational qualifications were not issues which bothered him, adding that they were not big deals because he enjoyed Sophia’s company. The singer subsequently took to his twitter handle and posted the following message: “Who signed what?”
Instantly, Davido’s comments generated traffic on social media, as they went viral.
