Fast forward ten months and an Australian magazine has claimed the pair are now dating.
According to Australian magazine Woman’s Day, Harry is said to be “smitten” with the star after initially meeting up together with a big group of friends.
"Harry didn’t want her to feel like she was put on the spot. A party also shows he’s fun and not stuffy. He’s smitten - and it’s more than Emma’s looks," a source reportedly told them.
And it didn’t take long for Twitter to react in hilarious style:
"Emma Watson gets to be a witch and potentially a princess. No way, pick one. You can't have your horcruxes and a crown."
"If this is true their child would be a halfblood prince," joked someone else.
Another tweeted: "Rumour has it Emma Watson is dating Harry. Kinda sad though coz its Prince Harry Harry not Harry Potter. She's really into ginger huh."
While others said if it's true, it's pretty much the most exciting showbiz relationship news ever.
"So apparently Emma Watson and Prince Harry are dating... PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE."
"Oh man usually I don't care... but if Emma Watson and Prince Harry are dating then my life has just been complete."
And then there was this person who said she was fine with the news, but something tells us she really wasn't.
"Prince Harry and Emma Watson dating rumours. Omg. I'm fine. I'm Okay. Ifjffl."
